In taekwondo, instant replay is evidence — the referee judges a contested point frame by frame. reStrike shoots every angle on real Sony Alpha cameras with fast prime glass, not the cheap IP cameras that smear the decisive moment into a guess.

For replay you don't want cinematic motion blur — you want every frame sharp enough to freeze on the point of contact. That takes a fast shutter speed, and a fast shutter only works when enough light reaches the sensor.
A bright f/2.0 lens on a large APS-C sensor delivers that light even under dim venue strip-lighting — so a spinning head kick lands as a crisp, frozen frame instead of a smear. A tiny IP-camera sensor with a slow lens can't: venue light forces it into a slow shutter (blur) or heavy gain (noise).
The live PSS scoreboard — Daedo or KP&P — is captured as a feed inside the very same 4K60 multiview, locked to the same trigger frame as every camera. No drift between the action and the score: a review shows exactly what the clock and score read at the instant of contact.

A ±2-second window around the playhead — 240 fully-decoded frames at 60fps — is held in RAM. Every scroll-wheel step lands instantly with zero decode lag, forward or back, for ultra-smooth frame-by-frame review. It auto-arms the moment you enter the replay scene, so the buffer is primed before the first contested call.
Each match is saved as its own MKV in the session's /matches folder. Every PSS event — round, time, score, technique — is embedded as a chapter with bundled mkvpropedit, so an editor jumps straight to the action.
